These Royals will ruin you.
Easton Royal has it all: looks, money, intelligence. His goal in life is to have as much fun as possible. He never thinks about the consequences because he doesn’t have to.
Until Hartley Wright appears, shaking up his easy life. She’s the one girl who’s said no, despite being attracted to him. Easton can’t figure her out and that makes her all the more irresistible.
Hartley doesn’t want him. She says he needs to grow up.
She might be right.
Rivals. Rules. Regrets. For the first time in Easton’s life, wearing a Royal crown isn’t enough. He’s about to learn that the higher you start, the harder you fall.
Warning: This book has a cliffhanger. The story will be resolved in Cracked Kingdom, due out January 2018.
I was so worried that the third one was the last one. I need some more royal drama in my life!😭😘👍🏻
Absolutely loved this series, couldn't imagine it ending with just the three book. Amazing, must read! If you're looking for a good read, this is perfect.
Get Ready To Be Ruined Again!
After meeting happy go lucky Easton in The Royals #1-#3, I could not wait to get my hands on this book! If you're a fan of Easton, you will devour this! You certainly don't need to read the previous books to enjoy this story though, since books #1-#3 focus on Easton's older brother, Reed. Just know that Fallen Heir is book 1 of Easton's story, so prepare yourself for the ending (and subsequent wait until the next book).
The book is told completely from Easton's point of view, and really showed that he is so much more complex than he appears. Sure, he's cocky, arrogant, and every bit a Royal, but as you strip away the layers, you find that entitled bravado is masking a lot of confusion, insecurity, and pain. Honestly, there were times I wanted to just reach through my kindle and hug him, but just as quickly I wanted to slap him across the face and shake some sense into him. Though his character did grow through the course of the book, it felt like each step forward often resulted in him stumbling backwards a few as well. I'm hopeful that he'll get there in the end.
I really enjoyed his banter with Hartley and their push and pull. Her immunity to his charms and advances only endeared me to her and my respect for her grew as her backstory began to unfold. I apologize for the vagueness of this review, but I really want readers to be able to truly experience this story on their own. It's pretty much guaranteed that you will feel a lot of different emotions while reading this book - happiness, anger, heartbreak, fear, disgust, hope, and despair to name a few. If you've read Erin Watt before though, you know that things might get uncomfortable and crazy, but just trust the story and enjoy the ride.
