Fifty shades of grey

A must read !

Fifty Shades of Grey

OMG this was strangely good. I can't believe I fell in love with this dark dark man, Mr. Grey! Book 2 and 3 here I come!!!

too much of the same thing

Don't get me wrong - I love a good, trashy romance novel as much as the next girl but I just could not get past how the love scenes in this book were the same thing over and over again. Perhaps it wouldn't be so bad if the author hadn't continuously used all the same words to describe every scene, but she did. In general, all the descriptions and verbiage in this book were grossly overused. I wish I could find a count on how many times the author used the word "murmur." Why is every word someone says in this book described as a murmur? "He murmurs"..."I murmur"...I just can't envision conversations where everyone is constantly murmuring.

In addition to all these small annoyances, the thing that lacked the most from this book was the character development. Yes, I get it that Christian Grey is supposed to be some kind of mystery but his character just wasn't believable at all and neither was hers (Anastasia). A young, handsome, rich CEO preys on the younger, smart and innocent just all seemed a bit cliche to me.
