A First Course in Atmospheric Radiation

Second Edition

This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.

Description

This textbook is written for meteorology and climatology students who require an introduction to the principles and practical consequences of atmospheric radiation but who do not necessarily intend to become specialists in radiation or remote sensing.  Its objective is to foster an understanding of "how radiation works" and to provide a solid conceptual and mathematical foundation for further study.

Customer Reviews

Equation problem was due to a bug in iOS 6, not the book

The problem reported by another reviewer concerning poor formatting of equations was valid, but it was due to a temporary bug in Apple's iOS version 6. The book displays correctly on iPads with versions 5.11 and 6.1.
I hope that reviewer tries viewing it again after upgrading iOS!
