From USA Today bestselling author Megan Mitcham…
Pristine waters and purified evil.
Two by two, dark-haired beauties vanish only to reappear as hanging, plundered corpses. The Virgin Islands boast diamond-white beaches, lush green mountains, a rich cultural heritage—and a brutal killer.
Three years on the “Field-Dresser” case and Special Agent Nathan Brewer is days away from catching the bastard—if he can convince a certain brunette to trust him. Only the woman is more likely to take a casual stroll on the surface of the sun.
After fleeing her troubles in the United States for the quiet life of a school teacher on the island of Tortola, Madelyn Garrett never imagined she’d be fixated upon by pure evil.
In a fight for her life—with a dwindling number of friends—she must rely on her cunning and Nathan’s skills for survival.
Note: Each Bureau novel stands alone, but is best enjoyed when read in order.

WHAT A RIDE!!! So much more than a book it’s an experience
I have fast become a fan of this author, Ms Megan Mitcham, who has the ability with descriptive words and unique phrases to capture the reader in a web of intrigue and suspense while creating such relatable characters that one has a hard time putting down the book and going about a mundane day.
This journey carries us to a beautiful Caribbean with old world values, where one leaves one's door unlocked and everyone knows you only it is totally corrupted and tainted by a horrific serial killer the likes you would never want to see and I'm rather amazed at the author's ability to conjure up such horror and also able to balance it so well with warmth and fun of love and discovery. One never lacks for the other as these books are full and complete with everything in a properly composed meal.
I am also from a small Caribbean island and it was a boon to see Carib Lager mentioned as it is one of my country's exports ... says a lot that I am proud of our beer export but there it is I am proud!
I like the fact that the female lead characters are strong independent women and although they carry baggage, in reality who doesn't some more than others, they encounter similarly strong male counterparts and they somehow stabilize each other. Ms Mitcham's books always gives us an HEA and truthfully after such intense subjects dealt with in these stories I, for one, am completely thankful.
This series has truly begun with a loud bang and from reading a few of MM's books I know it will only get more intense and readers won't be able to get enough.
PS... Norman Bates has nothing on this guy and I for sure am locking doors and double checking them!
