Forever with the SEAL
Book 8, HERO Force
This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.
All the HERO Force novels can be read as standalone stories.
Trevor “Hawk” Hawkins and Olivia Grayson are finally going to marry, but she’s finishing up a film before they say “I do.” When someone starts stalking her, Hawk must go overseas to protect the woman he loves—but a ghost from his past may draw him away from HERO Force forever.
This is a novella, not a full-length book.
Forever with the Seal
Forever with the Seal is a sexy, suspenseful novella. The series ends as it began with Hawk and Olivia, an actress also known as Brooke Barrons. Olivia, who is in France shooting a movie, has been receiving increasingly disturbing notes from a stalker. Unfortunately, Hawk has been caught up in HERO Force business and wasn’t able to join her...until his gut told him he needed to see her. Although a short read the action begins early and never lets up. Readers will be rapidly flipping pages to find out who is guilty and if Hawk can keep the woman he loves safe. Readers also will get a glimpse into a new HERO Force series. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. Highly recommend.
Just okay for me!
After the last blockbuster HERO force adventure, I have to say that I found this one to be just okay. Hawk has his hands full with missions that take him away from the woman he loves at a time when she's being stalked by a creep and she needs him the most. Sounds like a good storyline and I think the author would have done it justice but the story didn't last long enough to add enough mystery and intrigue that would have made it a 4 star read. This book introduces new characters to carry on the business now that the original members are family men. Based on past books I'm willing to give this author another chance to blow my socks of with a full length romantic suspense adventure that includes lots of twists and turns. I can only give this novella 3.75 stars. I read a complimentary copy of this book and all opinions expressed in my unsolicited and voluntary review are completely my own.
