The international bestseller on the extent to which personal freedom has been eroded by government regulations and agencies while personal prosperity has been undermined by government spending and economic controls. New Foreword by the Authors; Index.
Top notch book on economics
One of the most well-known books on libertarianism and classical economics, "Free to Choose" serves up typical Milton prose. The book offers bedrock type ideas for Libertarianism with the use of common sense examples to prove his point.
One of the few books that I think should be made mandatory in college economics classes.
Every person in America should be required to read this book. Though the real life examples used to illustrate many of the ideas are dated, the underlying, fundamental economic truths are as relevant today as ever. America is drowning in an absence of freedom and I am sick and tired of it. If you have a college age child, please, please make him or her read this book.
