Sweet and sexy love!
Further to Fall swept me up from the very first page and by the end of chapter one, I was in love! I stayed up too late reading FTF, I couldn’t put it down.
It evokes so many feelings! I laughed, cried, and swooned. It shot to the top of my favorites list. It’s one that I’ll read over and over again.
If you love romance with a slow burn while still being sweet and sexy, Further to Fall is for you! The moments between Carter and Austin are genuine, true, and completely lovely. They’re a sweet friends and an even sweeter couple.
I had the please of reading the ARC for this book. Let me just say that for a debut book, this was an awesome read.
This book was impossible not to love.
Carter is a new teacher who move to LA to start her career. While meeting up with an old friend, she meets the brooding Alfa Austin, an up and coming MMA fighter jaded by an ex.
The two get off to a rough start but became unexpected best friends. When they are forced to realize that their relationship is beyond friendship, Austin isn’t ready to let her in.
Together Austin and Carter must overcome their struggle and also battle forces that don’t want them together.
The secondary characters in the story were fantastic as well. Kind of wish this was book one of a series surrounding the friends.
In all I highly recommend this book. It has its lovey dovey moments but it also has drama which is what I always look for in a book.
Can’t wait to see more book from Catherine Cowles.
