Chloe Dolan’s life is perfect. She’s the MC President’s old lady, she loves to dance at Scotty’s Place—the strip club the MC owns and operates, and she and Gorgon are deeply in love. But Chloe’s perfect life falls apart one night after her last set when she spots her abusive ex-boyfriend, Brad, in the crowd. He’s been gone a year, but now it appears he’s back to stay.
As Gorgon and the MC Brothers deal with the fallout from a turf war, they have their hands full from the Outlaw Dogs MC. In the meantime, Brad is stalking Chloe. He’s sending notes to the club, and every time Chloe goes into town, she spots him. Eventually, Chloe is reduced to hiding inside the club.
When the power goes out during a tornado warning, Brad breaks into the club. Can Gorgon save the only woman he’s ever loved?
Kudos to Ravenna Tate. Gorgon’s Vengeance is the second book in her Demons On Wheels MC series, and she manages to do a spectacular job exploring the MC world with tough but lovable bikers, sassy but sweet strippers, and some totally steamy sex scenes that will have you reaching for a fan!
Gorgon, better known as Billy Westfall is the president of the demon named Demons on Wheels motorcycle club. They operate the strip club “Scotty’s Place” and do jobs for mob boss Donny. If you have been following the series and read the awesome first book, “Tannin’s Thunderbolt”, the club has just gotten a new pairing. Tannin, the sergeant-at-arms and Rai, a woman formerly on the run from mob boss Vito. With all of the drama settled, Chloe, a stripper also known as legs has settled in with her man Gorgon. She came to the club after being beaten and abused by her ex, Brad. She feels safe with all of the members around, but somehow, Brad shows up in the club, and he wants Chloe. Can the guys find Brad and keep Chloe safe?
Ravenna does a spectacular job with this MC romance. The suspense is just enough to make it juicy and she has made a biker and stripper totally lovable characters. Just Love IT!!!
Book #2 in the Demons on Wheels MC series by Ravenna Tate
Chloe Dalton (better know as "Legs") is damaged in so many ways. When she first arrived at Scotty's, the strip club run by the Demons on Wheels MC, she was terrified of men. Her self-esteem was tanked. But she found solace when she started dancing. She isn't just good. She's fantastic! She's become the most popular dancer at the club for very good reason. Her athletic ability, her physical strength, her creative and imaginative dance routines, the sheer joy she displays with every dance she performs...all this and more draws crowds to watch her. It's not just her body or the fact she's gorgeous. She's brilliant! But underneath it all, she's still broken, terrified of her past. Gorgon (a/k/a Billy Westfall) is the president of the Demons on Wheels MC. He's been drawn to Legs from the minute she first stepped into Scotty's looking for help and protection. He's had to go slow, be gentle, gain her trust, something that's not easy for the rough-and-tumble man. But he manages to win her trust, and what she confides in him is truly horrific, so bad that he literally wants to hunt down the person responsible. He wants to help Legs so much. But what can he do? The brute who did this to Legs is gone. And soon Gorgon and the rest of the MC have much more to be concerned with. When a rival MC goes off the rails, there's the real chance of a turf war. What can Gorgon and his club do to prevent it? Agreements reached that were meant to keep the peace are falling apart. Can their friends in "high places" do anything to help? And just when things seem their worst, Legs' past returns to haunt her. Will the monster who tried to destroy her find her and finish the job? Is there any way Gorgon and the rest of the MC can protect her? There's betrayal all around. Uncertainly abounds. Who can they trust? In the end, will the MC be left standing or will their rivals tear them apart? Will Gorgon be able to protect Legs, or will her past take away everything she's built? Can the beginnings of trust and love between Gorgon and Legs grow into something more, or will it all come crashing down around them? I adore Ravenna Tate's books. She's so talented. The fact that she's drawn me into this specific series, and made me fall in love with this particular subgenre, is proof of her incredible gift. It's a motorcycle club book. It's also an erotic romance. But it's so much more. There's intrigue, mystery, unexpected surprises throughout the book. This wasn't at all what I expected. I loved the plot, settings, incredible descriptions of this lifestyle. But what drew me in from the very beginning, and kept me riveted to the very last page, was the characters. They're charismatic, authentic, and totally engaging. Gorgon and Legs captivated me! They have a unique and special relationship that tugged at my heartstrings in ways I never anticipated. I laughed, cried, felt joy, terror, love, fear, and, in the end, was left feeling like I knew these people intimately. For me, that relationship was what hooked me. I was left wanting more of this series Ms. Tate has created. The ending came far too soon. I give Gorgon's Vengeance my highest recommendation without reservation. This is another very special book in what's proving to be a very special series. Ravenna Tate is truly impressive as always! One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer!
