"'You are sharing the Dark Lord's thoughts and emotions. The Headmaster thinks it inadvisable for this to continue. He wishes me to teach you how to close your mind to the Dark Lord.'"
Dark times have come to Hogwarts. After the Dementors' attack on his cousin Dudley, Harry Potter knows that Voldemort will stop at nothing to find him. There are many who deny the Dark Lord's return, but Harry is not alone: a secret order gathers at Grimmauld Place to fight against the Dark forces. Harry must allow Professor Snape to teach him how to protect himself from Voldemort's savage assaults on his mind. But they are growing stronger by the day and Harry is running out of time...

Barely any illustrations
The art that is in the book is amazing (credit to the very talented artists involved) but the opportunity to fill the book start to end with MANY illustrations and animations was not taken. Kind of defeats the purpose of the whole idea of having an immersive and interactive book. Being a huge fan I am very disappointed 😓
No night view option
Strange its absent. A drawback as I read mostly with the night view on.
“Full original text”??? NO WAY!
I originally read all the books as they came out in paperback many years ago, but I gave my books to a friend. When I saw the books in the iBooks Store, I thought that it would be great to own all of them again as ebooks, and reread them again after all these years.
I noticed that there were parts of the earlier books that were different from what I remembered, but I attributed that to my advancing age and possible confusion with the movies. However, I found glaring changes in “The Order of the Phoenix” that very much affected the plot. I reckon that “enhanced” I can deal with, but not “revised” or “abridged", even if Rowling rewrote them. This is especially true since the books are supposed to be the full original text. This is the last one in the series that I’ll be buying from the iBook Store. If I want to reread the rest of the series, I’ll see if I can find old paperback copies somewhere...
