Customer Reviews

First of all, I think this could be an AMAZING Bible, the problem is it is not usable. Pages load very slow, reveal a blank page or don't load at all. I am so disappointed. I really want this Bible, however, it is of no use if it can not be read. I would like to be notified if the error is fixed and the Book is in good working order. In the meantime, I am seeking a refund.

No 'Hebrew Names' in the New Testament?

This is a great idea with a nice layout and execution (given the limitations of iBooks). But there are two surprises you should know about...

Firstly, this is supposed to be a "Hebrew Names" version of the KJV. And, it is — in the Old Testament (and the Sample). The New Testament is devoid of any of this, and unfortunately neither the Sample nor the Introduction make mention of this fact. The Jewish New Testament goes to this trouble. So clearly it can be done, easily. Why would these folks advertise in a way that implies something that is only partially the case?

Secondly, it is very slow. This may simply be the nature of such a tome. But it makes use of it annoying and difficult. Perhaps with a newer, faster iPad, this will speed up acceptably. (I am using an iPad 3.)

[UPDATE: I just tried it on my new iPhone 5s. Same problem. Slow enough to be unusable.]
