A pulse-pounder full of humor and heart.
Emily finally has her life on track. Her adoption of Betsy seems like a done deal, her parents have reunited, and she’s engaged to her sexy boss Jack. Then client Phil’s childhood buddy drops dead face first into a penis cake at an adult novelty store. The cops charge Phil with murder. Emily feels like a calf out of a chute, pulled between the ropes of the header and the heeler, as she fights to help Phil without losing Betsy and Jack.

Pamela thanks for the wonderful mysteries and adventures in each and every book. You have created a series of that would be great as a miniseries or a Hallmark mystery movie. I always excited and ready for the adventures and surprises around every corner as you take us from one story to another and use each one as a connection to the previous one and yet somehow also independently standing on its own! I truly do not know what I love most. The idea that most of the stories are so realistic and relatable or that they take me on another adventure to my hometown of Amarillo.
Love these books!!!
I have spent all of my spare time the last week devouring these books. I love the characters and how they intertwine throughout the stories. I laughed and cried and I got caught up in their lives to the point that they felt (feel) real to me. Please keep them coming Pam!!!
