Relief for the sexy sole!!

I have been a dancer and yoga teacher for many years, so I know a fair amount about the body and it's inner and outer workings.
I was never a huge fan of trying to learn anatomy in my yoga teacher training. I wanted to get to the "good stuff."
High Heel Healing IS the best stuff, obviously gleaned from hundreds of sessions with a multitude of body types used in a plethora of ways.
This book uses humor and the real life performance and dance experience of the author to make the most intimate details of how all of the parts of the anatomy work together...and how to make them work even better together!
I love that anyone, novice or professional, can understand and utilize the subtle workings of the body and how they are connected to the things of the Earth and beyond.
The videos that are included are so helpful and essential to see the principles of "heel healing" in motion.
A practical and functional work of art by an expert practitioner.

This book is very different from, and miles above, the typical foot pain/back pain/posture/exercise book -- it goes beyond the superficial and gets deep into anatomy and physics but in an easy to understand, engaging and though provoking manner. It uses pictures, videos and descriptive imagery in ways that really complement each other. I found this book extremely helpful even as someone who doesn't wear heels often. I spend most of the day sitting at a desk and this book helped me better understand how I can release tension in my body by becoming better connected to my heels.

Great book, super informative and fun

I love to wear high heeled boots but my feet used to kill after standing on them for hours. I started working with Harold years ago and he really taught me how to use my feet correctly and also helped improve my posture. It's so much sexier to stand tall and walk with confidence than hobble and hunch over because of foot pain!

This book was very helpful and informative. The pictures throughout the book were great and really added a lot to the explanations. I love the writing style it's not only detailed but fun. Does it help? Well, I'm wearing four inch heels today... so, yes!
