Highland Fire

Excellent, really enjoyed.

Fire highland

A tale that kept me intrigued...really enjoyed it!

It's a "meh"

The story was intriguing and the characters were interesting enough. But it was very heavy in backstory, lore, and history, which took much away from the romance of the story. (Especially since it is romance). It took a bit over half the book to set the story up, then flew through a year's worth of character bonding and development in two chapters only to come to a screeching halt of an ending. I found myself skimming, hoping the story would move on after the history lesson.

All in all, it's not bad. I just wanted to read more about the main characters and less about the setting.
