His Accidental Heir

There is something about seeing a big strong man felled by a smiling 12-lbs bundle of joy (be it human, canine, or feline) that gets me every time. Such is the case in Joanne Rock’s latest, His Accidental Heir, as Cameron McNeill falls hard for Maresa Delphine and her niece Isla. The most impulsive McNeill, I think Cameron is also the one with the biggest heart so it was fun watching him fall for this ready-made family. The story sizzles with all of Rock’s trademark chemistry and heart. You can easily pick this one up without reading the first two in the series. It is the perfect escape from a hot summer day. I am very much looking forward to more McNeill’s next year.

Feel-good romance at it’s best! The McNeill brothers are strong, powerful and take-charge kind of guys … but they are falling hard and becoming teddy bears as love crosses each of their paths! We saw Cameron heading out on a tear in the first book in the series, and now it’s finally his story. A sexy bachelor with a heart of gold reaches out to help a wounded soul. Looking forward to seeing what happens when more family is brought into the series!

When Cameron McNeill goes in undercover as a demanding guest at the latest McNeill Resorts acquisition in the Caribbean, he just plans to find out what is making their customer satisfaction scores go down lately. He doesn’t expect to fall under the spell of the lovely concierge Maresa Delphine, but he can’t deny his attraction to her … but first and foremost, he needs her help!

Maresa is dealing with one thing after another with her ailing family, and she’s just been handed an infant to raise on top of everything else. She is overwhelmed to say the least. When Cameron offers her a way to make ends meet more easily while progressing the health of those around her, how can she refuse … even if it does require becoming his bride for a year!

This is book #3, in The McNeill Magnates series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. For reader enjoyment and understanding, I recommend reading this series in order.

Cameron has already made a mess of proposing to a stranger in the past. When he meets the real person he thinks he should marry, he wonders, is it for the right reasons? They are already compatible. Cannot keep their hands off one another.

Maresa is in the middle of so much. She is the anchor for all around her. Can she give in to what she wants or needs at the sake of so many others? Or will being with Cam be the one thing that pulls it all together? For the sake of her family and her heart she must keep it all together.

This series has been just terrific! My only complaint, was that this book felt rushed somehow. I love the characters, and really enjoyed the recurring favorites in this title as well. I sure hope we see more of these McNeill's!
