As soon as the mistletoe goes up, that's when life gets really interesting
Darcy Shaughnessy has gotten used to her overbearing brothers chasing away any man she wants to date. But a chance meeting with a brooding – and deliciously handsome – artist is about to make this holiday season one to remember.
There's only one thing Benjamin Tanner loves more than his woodcarving: solitude. Then he gets snowed in with Darcy in his cozy cabin in the woods, and their heated feelings begin to melt the icy barrier between them.
With Ben's need for privacy and Darcy's love of family and social life, will opposites still attract once the snow clears and the holiday festivities come to an end?

Favorite of the series!!!
This book was the perfect ending to the Shaughnessy Brother series!! I loved the banter between Ben and Darcy. With such opposite personalities, there was plenty of it. Darcy brought Ben out of his shell, and showed him that while he could still be the introvert he was, he didn't necessarily have to shut everyone out. I loved that there wasn't always sunshine and roses in their relationship. It had a realistic feel to it, like how real life relationships start out a bit rough and build. I enjoyed catching up with the rest of the Shaughnessy family, and that epilogue??? Had me in tears. It perfectly wrapped up this series. Definitely my favorite, and a must read!!!
Sweet & Fun Romance!
Holiday Spice is a sweet, well-written, contemporary romance.
Darcy, the youngest of the Shaughnessy siblings, had a strong need for family closeness. She had lost her mother when she was a young child, and although, Darcy didn’t remember her mom; she felt the loss deeply. Darcy’s favorite holiday was Christmas. It was the time of year for family gatherings and fun.
Ben Tanner loved working with wood. Each sculpture he created was a magnificent work of art. He was well known and sought out. To devote himself to his work, Ben lived like a hermit, in the mountains of Washington. He convinced himself that he enjoyed his solitary life. That was, however, until Darcy Shaughnessy, was stuck in his home, snowed in, and turned his world upside down.
Although it had been several years since Ben’s parents died, their death still affected him profoundly. Ben didn’t feel that he should be allowed to enjoy life, especially the Christmas holiday since that was his mother’s favorite time of year. It grated on him that Darcy not only loved Christmas but that she wouldn’t stop talking about it.
Holiday spice is an entertaining fun read, filled with love, romance, and emotion. It is story-telling at its best.

Perrfect Holiday Read
Loved this book, so worth the wait. I have been waiting for Darcy's story since the beginning of the Shaughnessy Brothers. Darcy gets snowed in at a cabin in Washington with Ben, who is a polar opposite of Darcy. He prefers the solitude of quietness. Darcy will soon bring him out of his shell. They both have suffered loss in their family. The banter between them is great, They are sweet, spicy and everything nice in between.
A great end to the series with catching up with all her brothers. Must have kleenex, for happy and sad tears. Good bye, Shaughnessy Family, you brought many hours of happiness to days/nights. I hiighly recommend this series.
