ADDICTED! TO FAME, BEAUTY, SEX, MONEY, POWER…TO A DREAM.
Brilliant, idealistic Dr. Gavin Jenkins creates a revolutionary treatment that heals his patients and helps them perform at the top of their abilities. When he marries a beautiful heiress and rises from rural poverty to riches and international celebrity, a ruthless, predatory oil billionaire introduces Gavin to the ailing President of the United States.
It is then that a twisted conspiracy is set in motion that leads from a secluded private island in the Mediterranean, to deadly KGB plots, and beheadings in the scarlet-draped bedroom of a sexually perverted royal prince to the Oval Office itself. As the darkest secrets at the heart of the White House are revealed, the world’s entire energy supply—and Gavin's own life—hang in the balance.
HOOKED, a political-medical thriller set in the 1960s world of the Jet Set and The Beautiful People, is set in New York and Washington, Vienna, Cairo and aboard Lydia, the world’s most beautiful yacht.

So many events in this book relate to actual historical facts that I found myself recalling many of them. Well written, exciting passages and interesting events intertwined with a good mystery, a book I would recommend highly.
