He’s about to find out … She’s not just one of the guys.
Annabelle Jordan and her two sisters were orphans in frilly dresses when they went to live with their sports-lawyer uncle in his world of locker rooms, bookies and gambling. Now the girls are publicists in their uncle's firm, The Hot Zone.
Despite her upbringing, Annabelle is all woman. She's naturally drawn to real men—like her latest client, businessman and former football legend Brandon Vaughn.
The chemistry is potent, undeniable, irresistible. Annabelle soon realizes that Brandon is much more than just another jock. And that she'd better hold on tight if she doesn't want to lose her heart. *This book previously released in 2004. Updataed for content and modernized

Hot hot hot
This is one of the first books I read of Carly Phillips, and this is a rerelease, this is an absolutely wonderful story with a great couple. Annabelle Jordan and Brandon Vaughn are great together. Carly Phillips keeps you wanting more and knowing that there are three more books in this series is great. I recommend to read this or reread this book because this series is great.
Great start to the series!
I love the series where you know each of the siblings are going to find their true love. This story is Annabelle and Brandon's story. Brandon is a retired football pro who is opening a lodge and needs some damage control. He hires Annabelle and her family's firm to help him out. He knows from the start that he's in trouble though because Annabelle is someone he could fall for. Annabelle goes into it knowing she needs to guard her heart, but when all is said and done, will it be possible?
I love the vulnerability that the author gives these characters. Annabelle and her sisters were orphaned when they were little and Annabelle constantly is scared of people leaving her. Brandon, even though he is a successful athlete, has never had any family support. He is damaged by the fact that he thinks he has nothing to give. I loved getting to know Annabelle's family and what a strong unit they are. I definitely had a tight throat at the end of the book as Brandon comes to terms with everything and that love is worth the risk. I thought this was a great read.
Adored this story!!!
The Hot Zone series is one of my favorite ever from Carly Phillips. I fell in love with this series when it was originally released and fell back in love with the Jordan sisters all over again with the release of the updated books from Ms. Phillips.
I adore Annabelle Jordan and how she has always been the one to make sure her family stayed together. I absolutely loved how close Annabelle, Sophie, and Micki were to one another and how they always had each other's backs. Yes the girls had Uncle Yank and Lola on their sides since they came to live with their uncle, but the girls still had a super special relationship.
I loved watching Annabelle and Vaughn fall for one another. There is just something about polar opposites fall for one another that gives me all the feels. Annabelle and Vaughn really seemed to complete each other with their differences. I also loved they both couldn't keep their eyes or their hands off each other, even with a surprise visit from Lola and Uncle Yank.
I absolutely adored reading the Hot Zone series when it was originally released and have only fallen in love with it all over again as I read the updated versions of each story. I love when a series of stories focuses around a family and Ms. Phillips hit it out of the park with her Hot Zone series.
