What is learning? What does it mean to be knowledgeable?
Prepare to grow a giant brain as you discover more about learning itself.
In a time where rote memorization and passing tests is still common in education, take a step back, open your mind, and think about what else will empower 21st Century citizens.
This book is great for character education in all schools, and lends specifically well to the PYP Curriculum framework within the International Baccalaureate.
Brain-ball of awesome!
As an educator involved in the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), I can see this book being useful in professional development or with students preparing for the PYP Exhibition. As a professional development resource, this book simply points out how to become knowledgeable. It would be a fantastic resource for introducing or reviewing the five essential elements of the PYP Curriculum model as a professional development activity. For students beginning the PYP Exhibition, this book would be useful to review the importance of using all essential elements gained through their PYP education to begin their Exhibition projects.
