How to Paint Citadel Miniatures: Daemons of Chaos

How to Paint Citadel Miniatures - Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000

This book is available for download with iBooks on your Mac or iOS device. Multi-touch books can be read with iBooks on your Mac or iOS device. Books with interactive features may work best on an iOS device. iBooks on your Mac requires OS X 10.9 or later.

The Daemons of Chaos manifest in the colours of blood, madness, despair and desire. In this Army Workshop, army painters Chris Peach and Duncan Rhodes demonstrate how to paint Daemons of the four Gods of Chaos – Khorne, Tzeentch, Nurgle and Slaanesh – using the Citadel paint range. These techniques can be used when painting any Daemons, for either Warhammer or Warhammer 40,000.

What's New in Version 1.3

In this updated edition, we present two additional painting guides: the foetid Plague Drones of Nurgle, and the mighty Cannon of Khorne. As with the painting guides in the original version, the techniques used in these new painting guides can be replicated to paint many of the other miniatures in the Chaos Daemons or Daemons of Chaos range.

Needs More

This is a great start, but it should cover the Greater Daemons, Daemon Princes and the rest of the current models to really justify the cost.

Games Workshop: Will this book be updated to cover all the Finecast models?

Wanting more

They should of named it how to paint troops of Daemons of chaos. Adding greater daemons would have been nice. As for what they did include was nicely done just wishing there was more content.

Very disappointed. Guide only covers 8 miniatures.

I was expecting a guide that would cover the entire range of models in depth. The guide is not very detailed and not worth $12. When I emailed customer service asking if there were plans to update this iBook, I was told there were no plans. I expected more and will not purchase any other digital painting guides until GW provides enough content to be worth the investment. Googling will provide better coverage over the entire range. Includes paint schemes for Bloodletters, Bloodcrushers, Pink Horrors, Flamers, Plaguebearers, Nurgle Soul Grinder, Daemonettes, and Exalted Seeker Chariot. If this list was available in the product description, I would not have been shocked once I purchased it.
