Customer Reviews
Action packed
Hard to review because I have mixed emotions about the book. Thank goodness for Reid and Anatole. Comic relief. It really was a good story. Lots of action. Fantastic world and I loved all the characters. Even the villains. If possible, I guess it was just too descriptive. I found myself dreading it at points in the story. Describing everything in such detail became boring. The story would have been shorter, cleaner without unnecessary details. Good note, no editing issues. With that said, great story. More of a mystery really and what an adventure. The characters were so well written, you felt you were there. I enjoyed them all. I will say, the first cousin thing was disturbing, but seemed to be species driven. Interesting, exciting and highly recommended. Enjoy!
Hunted , one of my favorite reds ever. Norman Upson
This book returned me to the joy I experienced when I first read Tom Clancy novels. It brought back memories of not wanting to put the novel down. Thank you for returning my faith in the pleasure of a well told story.
Brief review
I found the tying together of such disparate references amazingly well brought together. The balance of action and intellect was perfect. Very enjoyable and something I read through in eager anticipation. I highly recommend this book and find ample material to share in a book club setting as well as personal reading.
