For younger readers
I read this book after a breakup just out of college and loved it. I remembered it being snarky and sassy and empowering. Fast forward six years and I just ended a 3 year relationship with a man I considered my best friend. I remembered this book so I read it again, hoping it would give me the same relief it provided when I was younger but it did not. I now find the book silly and not at all helpful. It offers "funny" solutions and advice that are not practical, nor amusing.
Bottom line, if you're younger (under 22) this book is great for you! But if you're older and just lost a long and serious relationship, I would unfortunately skip this one.
