Sunny and Austin
Austin is bored. Although he enjoys working and overseeing operations at the ranch, it just doesn't give him the rush he experiences when fighting fires. When he learns of an opening with the nearby department, he applies for the job. As a trained paramedic and firefighter, Austin is more than qualified.
Sunny is a shoe-in for the position as she's the only one who's applied and she's the retiring chief's niece. When she discovers Austin has applied, the gloves come off. Sunny really needs the job so that she and her son can move out of her mom's house, but she lacks the respect and leadership needed for the job. Austin vows to help her.....
I honestly didn't care for Sunny in the beginning of the novel. She was abrasive, tough, and not likeable at all. Once the real Sunny was revealed, I LOVED her! The trifecta of cowboy, firefighter, and paramedic made Austin all the more sexy! Austin and Sunny's story was unique and I truly enjoyed seeing their characters play out! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.
Sweet, hot and sexy
Loved this book! The characters are great, I love the way they spar and develop. It was a really fun read and I plan to search out more books in this series. I think I just found a new author to follow.

'Where There's Smoke' (A Cowboy Way Novella) by Becky McGraw is a fantastic read. This story is hilarious, smoking hot, and emotional. Not to mention the hot cowboys and firefighters! I loved getting to know Austin and Sunny. This is a great addition to the Cowboy Way series. Looking forward to seeing what happens next in one of my favorite series. Highly recommend to all fans of hot cowboys, firefighters, and romance.
