When Hollywood heart-throb Cooper Lindstrom needs money to get his late mother's homicidal bookie off his back, he jumps at the lifeline Black Hills postmaster Libby McGannon tosses his way. In Cooper's mind, their arrangement is simple: his sperm in trade for a share in her family's gold mine. But the real pay off is her story--the one he plans to turn into a hit sitcom that will push him back on top.
The hit show Coop saw coming.
Love? Completely blindsided him.
And the baby? Who could have guessed Cooper wanted to be a father?
Too bad Libby--the woman he's fallen hard for--might never forgive him for turning her life into a joke for worldwide consumption.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, finding love when you least except it, and to all of the quirky townspeople of Sentinel Pass. Hollywood heart throb, Coop needs to make some fast money when he finds this add for a sperm donor. Libby, has not had any luck in the boyfriend department but she wants to be a mother, so she is on the lookout for a sperm donor. They soon agree to this, so Coop makes a trip to Sentinel Pass, but soon finds this would be the perfect place for a tv sitcom. What he does not plan on is finding true love. Once Libby finds out the truth of the sitcom, she soon puts an end to the sperm donor business, but is it to late.
I highly recommend this book to all romance readers. I truly believe it would be an awesome tv sitcom!! I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Black Hills Billionaire. I relieved this book from the author for an honest review.
Black Hills Baby
This was a really fun story. Cooper and Libby were both great characters. Cooper was the perfect combination of snooty actor and bumbling guy with low self-esteem. It was fun to watch how his character grew throughout his "adventure" in Sentinel Pass. Libby was a very strong character, almost too strong. She spent way too much time caring about what everyone else would think or say about her. It's one of the hazards of being in a very small town. Her friends were a great crew of girls though. It was a fun story to read.
I really liked this book, and the plot was different. The only do side was I felt it was hard to connect with the main character, and that the main characters didn't really have that much chemistry. But I loved that Cooper had quirks and wasn't the typical perfect alpha male!!
