Having hope was her weakness.
If Sadie Mullins hadn’t started to believe in love again, hadn’t let herself fall for him, she wouldn’t be feeling this way.
Wouldn’t have her heart breaking.
Wouldn’t regret meeting West Montgomery.
The cocky bastard should have left her alone, let her forget about him.
Let her move on with her life.
Of course, he didn’t.
That could have been the end of it.
Of course, it wasn’t.
*This is Book 2 in the Water's Edge Series and is a continuation of Sadie and West's story that began in Wet. This is not a standalone.
So worth the wait!
Last summer, I fell in love with a little book called Wet by Stacy Kestwick but, she left me hanging. Big time. I've been waiting since June for its sequel. Wet was just released on iTunes so pick it up if you haven't. So. Good. And Soaked doesn't disappoint. I'm a stickler for grammar, first of all, and this book was extremely well written in regards to that. I even catch a mis-used word on some of the big wig authors so I'm always impressed when nothing jumps out at me when it's written by a new author. Second, these characters... They are so well developed. I feel like I can sit and have a donut with Sadie and I love that!
Very good sequel to wet and no cliffhanger ! However it's not done, because now I'm curious as to what happens between Grady and Rue.
Should've finished the story in the first book
I loved the first book, Wet, except for the surprise cliffhanger. The author really should've wrapped things up in the first book. This book had me constantly rolling my eyes. The main character, Sadie, gets so annoying and insecure. I was so sick of reading the same stuff over and over again. I had to force myself to finish.
