The story continues...
I trusted Colton with every bit of myself. I believed him when he promised he’d never hurt me. But he broke me…and now I watch him give another woman everything I thought would be mine.
I never saw this coming.
I don’t blame Taylor for the decisions she’s made, because I know the fault is all mine. I took her for granted. I broke her heart.
But she’s everything to me. If the guy holding her now thinks for one second I’ll lay down without a fight, he’s dead wrong.
Because I’m coming after what’s mine.
Oh Miss Molly, Miss Molly! What have you done to me!
FIGHT, the second of the Velocity books, MUST be read after FLY.
Oooh, here.we.go. Fight starts off just after Fly ended. Jumping right in, the feels start. I love Taylor, she is strong, sassy, independent, everything I love in a heroine. She proves it with each step she takes in this conclusion. Colton is tough. He knows what he wants, and he is trying so hard to get it, but he's getting knocked down all over the place.
Fight is a fabulous conclusion to Taylor and Colton's story. It has love, happiness, some angst... Its crafted in a way that makes you never want their story to end.
Ahhhhh! Waited for the sequel to Fly and let me tell you, it was well worth the wait! Fight rejoins Colton and Taylor after Vegas. And so much has changed in their relationship since the night they spent together. Taylor is harboring a big secret that she can't bring herself to share with Col. They don't talk or text as much as they used to. Col is still fighting with Liz and Bria and ProFit. He just wants to do Motocross. And be with Tee. That's all. But Liz and Bria have something up their sleeves and won't let him be. He keeps hoping that after the last photo shoot for ProFit that he'll be able to walk away. But Liz and Bria aren't going to let him go because he is their bankroll. All of these issues keep Col and Tee from being together. Tee keeps getting hurt, though Col doesn't mean for it to keep happening.
It's a beautiful end to their love story. The characters are so well written and you just want them to FINALLY get their HEA.
Grab this book now. You won't be disappointed!
Molly does it again!!! Well worth the wait! Perfection takes time!!
I just want to say one thing: MOLLY McLAIN, THIS BOOK WAS SO WORTH THE WAIT!!!!
OK, I lied, I have to say more, a lot more, but not too much, I do not want to give anything away.
Molly McLain put her heart and soul into this book. You can read this in every word, on every page, of every chapter. This is a VERY emotional read all around, it made me cry so many times, both in sadness, and happiness. There were parts that I wanted to reach into the book and absolute punch two characters, and I do not know which one deserves the title of queen b..er a witch (sorry, have to make this PG). One of my favorite non Taylor/Colton scenes is at the wedding when Matt is talking to Colton, about “Taylor going out of her way to do something you might finally notice.” And Colton responds: “You think she…..” Stop, I said no spoilers. I was just so happy to see Colton setting Matt straight on this matter. My favorite Taylor/Colton scene, sorry there are just too, too many to name.
Thank you Molly McLain for this emotional “Flight” (smile).
If you love reading excellent, emotional romance, well then this series is for you. I do have to say though, you really should read the previous book, Fly prior to this one. You will understand so much more, and make this one even more emotional than it is by itself.
Thank you for reading my review!
