I’m going to admit straight up, domestic discipline, or head-of-household, or 50’s household, however you want to word it, just isn’t my cup of tea. Probably because I’m somebody who would walk around with a perma-red butt. I’m more of an equality outside the bedroom, submit inside of it kinda gal. But hey, different strokes for different folks. Everyone has their own kink.
The first story, Wife on the Lam, was definitely my favorite of the two. Janelle is upset that her husband has decided to go on a business trip instead of the island resort vacation she’s been hinting about. So, she goes by herself. She gets stuck with an annoying Texas rancher who won’t leave her alone, and to her dismay, he’s also at the resort. Little does she know, husband Brent has payback all his own for ruining his surprise.
Story number two is Rahm’s Way, I wasn’t too keen on this one, maybe because I felt he was just too strict and eager to paddle his wife’s rear raw. Rahm has returned from a two-year deployment in the Middle East. He greets his wife then takes her home and ravishes her. When he gets in the office the next day however, he finds out she’s been holding something back from him and he’s none too happy about it. So, he punishes her and forbids her from her new job. But when a friend is in trouble, she can do nothing but help. Of course, this doesn’t end well for our housewife. I will say I did like the ending.
Overall, this was really well written and Cara knows her craft and her target audience well. While the DD part may not be my kink, a good spanking is always appreciated.
