Aurora Daniels is the bleeding heart of her family. With a gift and a passion for helping to heal others, she has a legacy of kindness and gratitude—a modern-day saint.
Every Sunday since she turned eighteen, Aurora has driven three hours into the city of Edmonton, Alberta, where she volunteers at an equine facility that rehabilitates troubled youth by working with horses. With their increasing success rate, the facility is expanding to foster violent parolees in hopes of a more effective release into society.
Assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder—that’s what it says under the name on his sheet. Rhys White is released on good behaviour and promises to remain under contract for community service at the Equine for Hearts facility for a court-ordered period of twelve months.
Willow Bay’s saint may have stumbled across the one sinner who can’t be saved from himself.
Will Aurora be able to rein in Rhys’s quest for revenge before it’s too late? Or will she spend the rest of her life loving a man behind bars?
4 Rein In Stars!
A heartwarming, emotional, and beautiful tale of love, second chances and redemption. Anne Jolin truly reins in her readers in this third installment of the Willow Bay Stables as she tugs and pulls all the heartstrings as she beautifully ropes in readers to fall in love with second chances. Second chance not only in love but at life.
In Rein In, the spotlight is now on Aurora Daniels. The baby of the family who happens to be the heart and soul. Aurora's kind and beautiful heart is what makes her truly special and stand out from the rest of her family. She has been volunteering at an equine facility that rehabilitates troubled youths. This job is something that Aurora takes seriously as she is a firm believer in second chances.
Rhys White just recently got released from prison on good behavior. The terms of his release is that he will be volunteering and serving time at this equine facility. Rhys mostly keeps to himself since he just wants to do his time and get out and so he was most definitely in for a surprise when Aurora slowly wormed her way into his heart. As they began to form a friendship, deep feelings begins to form that soon leads to a relationship. But what happens when Rhys is faced with an issue that could land him back in jail? Will Aurora be able to rein in Rhys and his quest for revenge?
Rein In is a delicate, sweet-natured second chance romance that will find a way to gallop and pull your heart. Anne Jolin beautifully and sensitively writes a story that showcases the depth of love, friendship, understanding, new beginnings and hope. While this quick story highlights a blooming love story, this was not the main emphasis of the book as Jolin proves once again that when one door closes, another opens. And for Rhys White, his door to a second chance at life came in the form of a beautiful angel named Aurora Daniels. So if you are looking for a touching love story that reins in all the elements of love, forgiveness, hope, family and new beginnings then Rein In might be the book for you.
Rhys will steal your heart
Aurora Daniels is too good to be true. She is sweet and pure. She lends a hand where it'sneeded and is quick to offer help. And all of this is what landed her at Equines with Hearts. She loves to help and can't imagine doing anything else.
Rhys White has had a run of bad luck but for all of the right reasons. He found himself on the wrong side of the law and now he's finding himself mesmerized by a beautiful woman and freedom is with his reach.
This is the third book in the series and I have loved every one of them for very different reasons. I was very excited for Aurora to get her own story as she was a minor character in the other two. Each book can be read as a standalone but there are a few things you'll miss if you don't read the others.
I loved Aurora's spirit. Everything about her is happy and light. I loved the evolution Rhys undergoes throughout the story. He has a good heart but is shrouded by his history.
I have read many other books by this author and loved them all. I am looking forward to her next production and will definitely recommend her books to my friends.
Rhys and Aurora Forever
I received a free ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review. Rhys and Aurora have an interesting start. I love that Aurora took the lead in the relationship. It's a beautiful story and I enjoyed every second of it. Anne Jolin does not disappoint in the next installment in Willow Bay.
