THE PRINCE OF PARK AVENUE FINALLY MEETS HIS MATCH IN A FEISTY MANHATTAN PRINCESS.
I’ve made every one of my billions of dollars myself—I’m calculating, astute and the best at what I do. It takes drive and dedication to build what I have. And it leaves no time for love or girlfriends or relationships.
But don’t get me wrong, I’m not a monk.
I understand the attention and focus it takes to seduce a beautiful woman. They’re the same skills I use to close business deals. But one night is where it begins and ends. I’m not the guy who sends flowers. I’m not the guy who calls the next day.
Or so I thought before an impatient, smart-talking, beyond beautiful heiress bursts into my world.
When Grace Astor rolls her eyes at me—I want to hold her against me and show her what she’s been missing.
When she makes a joke at my expense—I want to silence her sassy mouth with my tongue.
And when she leaves straight after we f*ck with barely a goodbye—it makes me want to pin her down and remind her of the three orgasms she just had.
She might be a princess but I’m going to show her who rules in this Park Avenue bedroom.
A sexy, standalone, contemporary romance.
The story plot seemed kind of bland until the middle to end where the characters and story become more complex. I almost stopped reading it after the first few chapters so if you want a pretty straight forward you see what you get story I suggest you get this book. If you want a more layered story with emotion and complexity/intrigue I suggest you look elsewhere.
I fell hard for Sam!
I always love the damaged hero and Sam Shaw is no different. I fell hard for this man who is so afraid to let anyone in, that he has amassed an empire with only one person who he'd call a friend. When he meets Grace, she intrigues him. He never would have guessed that she would be the person to change his life.
This book did it for me on so many levels. I loved the characters of Grace and Sam. We had met Grace before and I was happy to see her get her chance at love. Louise Bay always does an exceptional job with character development and this story is no different. I felt Sam's tortured pain. I felt him wanting so badly to love and be loved, but so afraid that he would lose what he loved and he wouldn't come back from that. I loved the witty banter between Grace and Sam, but then also the talks between them where you felt their worlds change. This was such a great story and I cried for Sam and then cheered him on in the end. I was so happy to see Harper and Max again, too. Such a great read!
A Must Read.. Sam Shaw is totally swoon worthy
Park Avenue Prince is a must read tale of two people who grew up in different worlds.
Holy Crap, Sam Shaw, is totally swoon worthy. He grew up with nothing and he earned his money the hard way, so he doesn't spend it on stuff on material things that he doesn't need. He does this because he doesn't want to end up with nothing ever again.
Enter Grace Astor, who grew up with everything, but is trying to make it on her own.
I loved their journey and getting to see the many layers of Sam and he is a complex man. I loved watching him struggle with his true feelings for Grace and how they finally come to love each other deeply.
