Ari Daniels didn't count on her whole world tumbling down around her in a mess of shredded promises, broken love, and unbelievable heartbreak. Alone and stricken with grief, she shouldered the blame and eventually closed her heart off, refusing to open it for another. After all, anytime she tried, guilt and regret were waiting in the wings to remind her how painful it was.
A bet and one steamy night with a stranger force Ari to confront all she's been hiding behind. She tries to move on, but he refuses to stand down, wanting what she is terrified to give—herself. This man may very well destroy her in the end, especially when it's clear he has his own demons.
What happens when two broken souls come together, finally allowing themselves to believe in the beauty of love … only to have to fight harder than ever to keep it.
So unbelieving good!!!
I love everything Harper writes! But Thorn has now replaced my book Husband Cage! I think maybe I can have two!!! HOT HOT HOT AND MORE HOTNESS!!!!!!!!
Thorn is mine!!
Thorn is my new book boyfriend!!
This book is my new favorite by Harper Sloan.
I didn’t think anyone could take Axel’s place.
Thorn Evans is one sexy, protective and demanding Alpha male and he’s mine!!
Ari Daniels is a strong heroine after everything she went trough.
Both Ari and Thorn has demons from their past and their chemistry was of the charts.
Thorn wanted Ari and made a bet with her but he didn’t count that he would be the one losing his heart.
Thorn Evans is the owner of a strip club Hi called “The Alibi” (love that name) and a former stripper himself (gah that is so hot) and his best friend is Wilder and is the owner of a bar called “Barcode” (lots of awesome names in this book)
Ari Daniels is the owner of “Trend” a high end Consignment store where she spent most of her time with her best friend Piper.
Love, angst and suspense and surprise are in this book a true page turner.
Can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
“You ran, but Ari, I wouldn’t have stopped chasing you. Not after that. Not ever.”
💙💙💙💙💙 5 STARS!!
Still thinking about this book
I love romance novels but I’m usually one to read, enjoy and move on. But the characters are still with me 2 books later. Love it when that happens.
