Awesome read!
Not a dull moment. I couldn’t put the book down. So many twists and turns. Fell in love with the characters as well. This book is well written with plot twists and enduring lead characters. I am not one for too gruesome detections, but in this case understood the need to express the unfathomable. Recommend this read for anyone into fantasy. I am going to read again!

I freakin loves this book! So many interwoven details I had to join the mailing list to get the second book!However, if you are not willing to open your mind to different approaches of storytelling of God; and strictly adhere to the ‘God is a Man’ trope then I’m afraid this book is not for you. It’s been very interesting reading the musings between angels and archangels and the One. I’ve had some of the same misgivings about an omnipotent being.
Angels who don’t respect God
The book is full of nasty language. Main character of the book is Nephilim and falls in love with an angel. At one point she decided God (a female who is getting too old and is referred to as "The One") is at fault for allowing evil on the earth. God is referred to as 'she' throughout the book.
