Yoga for Office Professionals is written for busy corporate professionals looking to become more relaxed, productive and efficient at work. There are descriptions and photographs of 20 yoga positions to perform sitting in a chair and 10 yoga positions to perform standing up. These basic yoga positions are easy-to-follow for anyone who works at a desk, whether they are new to yoga or go to yoga classes regularly. Each of the 30 yoga positions has step-by-step written instructions and at least one photo of the author demonstrating the pose. Additionally, this enhanced version also contains 30 audio tracks, one for each pose, as well as video clips for 18 of the poses.
Michael Huffman is both a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200) and a CPA (Certified Public Accountant). He spent over 20 years working in an office cubicle in Corporate America in offices at: Coinstar-Redbox, Intel, Microsoft, Deloitte, H.J. Heinz and Kroger. Early in his accounting career he recognized that working at a desk shortens hamstrings, tightens shoulders and worsens posture. Since leaving the corporate world in 2011, he's been on a mission is to create resources for 'road warrior' style travelers and those who spend their workday in front of a computer. His goal is to provide them with Zen-like instructions on how to incorporate basic yoga poses & techniques into their daily routine whether in an office or on the road.
