Murdered artists. Masterful forgeries. Art crime at its worst.
As an insurance investigator and world renowned expert in nonverbal communication, Dr Genevieve Lenard faces the daily challenge of living a successful, independent life. Particularly because she has to deal with her high functioning Autism. Nothing - not her studies, her high IQ or her astounding analytical skills - prepared her for the changes about to take place in her life.
It started as a favour to help her boss' acerbic friend look into the murder of a young artist, but soon it proves to be far more complex. Forced out of her predictable routines, safe environment and limited social interaction, Genevieve is thrown into exploring the meaning of friendship, expanding her social definitions, and for the first time in her life be part of a team in a race to stop more artists from being murdered.

Loved this book! Loved the characters too! Believable and stayed on course, flowed nicely, kept me intrigued. Many facets of art, personalities, and humanity. Looking forward to reading more books from Estelle Ryan. Thank you for offering a peek into what you offer as a wonderful writer for free!
This is the best book I've read in quite a while, and I read a LOT. The story line is complicated and the relationship between the players is amazing. I loved the growth of all the characters as the story progressed. Can't wait to read the next one in the series.
The Gaugin Connection
Exciting and easily readable. Characters one comes to care about and hopes to read more about in future interactions. Turns the potential handicap of the main character into one of her greatest assets. Creates hope for the future of how people might treat each other in the real world. The characters grow and evolve over the course of the story. Much fun.
