How do you learn to remember when you have forced yourself to forget?
How do you learn to trust when those who were meant to protect you failed?
Catering assistant, Kara Petersen, leads a quiet, monotonous life until one fateful phone call changes everything…
The sparks fly when Kara meets handsome, enigmatic businessman, Sloan Foster. Dominant in the boardroom and successful in the bedroom, he always gets what he wants - and he wants her.
Captivated by his charm and aloof confidence, Kara is drawn to him in a way she has never been to anyone before. Aware something isn't quite right, and against her better judgement, she concedes his intense allure is too strong to resist and their innocent fling swiftly develops into something she could never have imagined.
But in this outwardly perfect world of wealth and glamour, all that glitters isn't gold. And as the mystery behind the man begins to slowly unravel, so does her life.
Now, with her heart and trust on the line, Kara is learning more about herself than she ever thought possible, from a man who seemingly knows more than he should. And the memories she forced herself to forget, are the ones she now desperately needs to remember.

Well worth the read!
I bought this book by mistake hit sample (or so I thought) and got the whole book but I was not disappointed! It had an intriguing story line out of the normal books I tend to read. The only thing is I wish Kara would hold her ground on certain things more instead of letting Sloan control everything. I read this book so fast I immediately book the next in the series and can’t wait to continue on their journey to see what happens
I had to stop reading this book so many times because the main character is insufferable. She makes stupid decisions and has stupid rationale for those decisions. I just can’t with this book. I forced myself to finish it because it irritates me to leave a book unfinished, but I really did not enjoy it.
Fractured is one of those rare masterpieces that combine love, pain, angst, strength and passion all in one punch. Elle Charles has brought us a mesmerizing and riveting tale of pain and hurt, and the way in which it can corrupt our minds and bodies, rip our hearts and color the world grey. And as a soothing balm show us that it only takes the love in its purest form to ease it all away and bring a kaleidoscope of light back into a broken soul. And that is Kara and Sloan's tale. Well-written, with excellent character development and an insightful view of a young woman fighting for happiness, love and acceptance.
