Yummy Addictions, Book ONE of the Yummy Trilogy.
The fine line between love and lust can be blurry.
Valentina “Vale” Zamora is a twenty-eight-year-old executive looking to put the pieces of her shattered life back together after a rocky marriage and even rockier divorce. Desperate to add some excitement to her life, she flies off to Paris to engage in some retail therapy and possibly find a man to bring her some much-needed sexual fulfillment.
But when she meets a mysterious self-made millionaire, she gets far more than she expected. An erotic escapade unfolds against the beauty and drama of Paris, and Vale finds herself in the middle of a sexual—and emotional—awakening. Is this all just a lust-filled romp? Or could this actually be something real?
Filled with passion, eroticism, and surprises, Yummy Addictions is one woman’s journey into a world of desire, love, and ultimately herself.
I received this via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
Belle Davis aptly titled this book. Vale is celebrating her new found freedom from an over controlling ex-husband with a trip to Paris, solo, in hopes to have a casual fling while visiting her favorite destination when fate intervenes. Sitting next to her on her long flight to Paris is a man she met three years prior. A man she had a connection with but was un able to act on it due to already being in a relationship. The sparks are immediate and oh so addicting! While struggling to keeping the relationship a no-strings fling, Jason is trying to show Vale it could be so much more! I felt the author did a great job with the chemestry between Vale and Jason. It didn't feel fake or rushed and you could see the struggle Vale had with trying to keep things simple. I felt it made the story more real with Vale's struggle to give into Jason. I was glad to see that she didn't just cave from moment one. By the end of the book, there's enough mystery to Jason and hints that their reconnection might possibly not have been fate after all that it kept the story very intriguing. I look forward to continuing this story with book two!
