Customer Reviews

It's so good, it's sad

What an engaging (and surprisingly fun!) read. I am not only imagining Diana, I am CELEBRATING Diana as this book lingers in my head. Long live the Queen of Hearts!

Amazing book

I have been waiting for a book like this that you can just NOT PUT DOWN! So believable I kept forgetting it was fiction.

Great read

As a fan of alternative history, including 11/22/63 by Stephen King (which is a monster compared to this lean read) and The Plot Against America by Philip Roth, which is one of my all-time favorites, this was very well-done. There is a good amount of history and power plays within the Royal Family, which gave Imagining Diana substance, as well as a fair amount of more soapy elements, which felt strangely right considering it was a book about Diana, whose life was a soap opera. But in the end, the fictitious tale is surprisingly impactful. I can't put it out of my mind.
