Fun end of the world book
Preston always creates protagonists that you want cheer for and this story only ups the bar. This story has so much packed into it that if feels like 300 pages must be lying on an editors' floor somewhere. One last word: popcorn. This story played well in mind, just like a fun movie.
Excellent. A what happens if wrapped in a who dun it and, although one may pick up a few clues, there are always surprises around the next bend. A crisp, crunchy two day read.
Not a bad read, but once again the author could have toned down the profane language that was used in this book. There was a lot of characters that were not needed, and the plot could have been better developed. It was a very slow read, for the first two hundred pages then the plot developed nicely. Not one of his best works, and was it was disappointing. Not worth the money.
