Get Wild. . .And Then Get Wilder. . .
Accountant Katie Kramer is a quintessential good girl--working hard, recycling diligently, all the while trying to ignore the feeling that she doesn't fit in anywhere. That's all she wants. Well, that--and amazing sex, and the kind of daredevil escapade she can look back on when she's crunching numbers in a dusty cubicle. Which explains why she just took a job in Wishful, California, working for Wilder Adventures and Expeditions. Waking up to find a magnificently built stranger towering over her bed--that part defies explanation. . .

Loved this book! The introduction of the Wilder family is fun, touching, and full of family dynamics that everyone can relate to from their own experiences. Their quick wit, constant teasing, bantering and unwavering support are all part of their charm and charisma.
There are three brothers, TJ, the oldest, Stone the middle brother and Cameron the youngest. Their aunt, Annie took over raising them at the age of eighteen along with her husband Nick. They own and operate Wilder Adventures, in the Sierra Mountains, California. It is an outdoor adventure business where they make money doing what they love, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, whatever the mountains have to offer. They crave these extreme adrenaline fueled adventures.
Cameron Wilder is an ex-champion snowboarder due to a horrific career-ending accident where he was careless. It caused him to lose his purpose and become restless. Cam leaves his family to figure out who he is without the sport that defined him. After a year of aimless wandering Cam returns home. Back at Wilder Adventures he encounters Katie Kramer from Los Angeles trying to live her life "balls out" after her horrific death defying accident, as the Wilder Adventures office manager. The snowy, cold majesty of the Sierra Mountains is the complete opposite of the the congested and smog filled city of LA. Katie decides that she needs to live a fuller life and step out of her comfort zone. However, she has difficulty with panic attacks triggered by flashbacks. Cam and Katie have similar stories and yet they both deal with it in different ways.
Cam and Katie's attraction is definitely instant but they each have walls that must be scaled in order to find complete happiness with themselves as well as each other. Their interactions are heart-warming one minute and hot the next. Everyone around them can see that they are good for each other and yet they still hold back their hearts.
This book is full of suspenseful moments that made my heart pound and not just between Cam and Katie but the rest of the crew. Don't miss this one.
