This detailed book shares how you can take your students to countries around the world, without leaving the safety of the classroom. It helps to make the foreign feel familiar in a fun and entertaining way.
Our daughter was lucky to go on one of the iTravel journeys on which this book is based. She LOVED it! Finding the postcards in the mail that she had sent home from her trips was her favorite. And she is never out of ideas for a family vacation!

I enjoyed browsing through this booklet, which includes multimedia aspects as well as “regular” text and graphics. Because of the multimedia it did take a while to download, so do be patient! In each country “section” there is a Presentation page - at first I didn’t realize that if I use two fingers to expand the presentation image it pops up and becomes a full presentation you can page through, with short videos in some of them! I also found that it was helpful if I turned the iPad sideways (landscape) for the pop-up presentations, but portrait when going through the booklet itself. In addition to “how to” ideas, there are graphics in here that you can print out to help make the whole iTravel experience more engaging. Fun!
