When CBS News Correspondent Barry Petersen married the love of his life twenty-five years ago, he never thought his vow, “until death do us part,” would have an expiration date. But Early Onset Alzheimer's claimed Jan Petersen, Barry’s beautiful wife, at 55, leaving her unable to remember Barry or their life together.
So far, the best book I have read that focuses on the well being of the caretaker & options on moving on with their life while still taking care of their loved one with this horrible disease.
I Can Relate
THANK YOU SO MUCH! For this book. I too am taking care of a spouse who was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's. Some days I can accept it, some days, I cry all day and I am in denial. I don't know how I'll handle it when he's no longer a part of my life...I guess no one does. All I know is I've been with him for over 1/2 my life and I can't imagine my life without him. God Bless You. Thank you so much for sharing.
