TWO SHOTS, THAT'S ALL IT TAKES AND JUBILEE'S LIFE IS FOREVER CHANGED... She's left sitting on a park bench and her brother is accused of attempted murder.
When tragedy strikes a West Virginia coal mining family, two orphaned children start out on a trek they hope will lead to a new life. But before a day passes, they're separated and Paul gets caught up in a robbery not of his making. Jubilee knows the truth, but she's only seven years old, and nobody wants to believe a kid. Jack Mahoney, the detective with a big heart and a bad case of heartburn is her last hope.
In this sequel to the USA Today Bestseller Spare Change, readers will reconnect with the much loved Ethan Allen and return to Wyattsville.

Very well written!!
What an amazing book! Most books I read take some time to invest in and get interested in. However, with Jubilee's Journey I was enthralled within the first couple pages. There is so much emotion in the book and the characters (especially little Jubilee) really tug at my heart strings. This book is very well written and it was impossible to put down once I got started!
Well written...loved it
Jubilee's Story-well written...
Jubilee and her brother Paul are left orphaned after their mother died of the fever, and their father killed in a coal mine. They are thrown out of the only home they know and walk down the mountain to get on a bus and find their Aunt who they have never met. They arrive in Wyattsville, with out any idea how to find the aunt with little money, they stop to eat, and look through the phone book to find his Aunts name. He finds a help wanted ad in the coffee shop and leaves his sister on a bench to wait. A robbery occurs while he is in there, he is shot, and Jubilee is left sitting on the bench. Enter Ethan Allen Doyle who brings her home, and so continues the story of Olivia and Ethan how much love they have to give. The story brings you in right away, and you really don't want to put it down....such a good story, once again showing that through bad something good almost always happen...😍
