He’s a better-than-a-Boy-Scout, trauma surgeon extraordinaire. Who just punched a patient in the nose.
She’s the director of the ER. And is now in charge of keeping her star surgeon in line until his suspension is over and then getting him back to work.
First order of business is prying his perfect ass off the bar stool… and keeping her huge crush on him under control. Except he refuses to move until she agrees to—and then loses—a bet for 48 hours of her undivided attention.
Okay, she can handle this. How much trouble could they possibly get into in two days? And how much could she possibly enjoy that trouble? And if he simply can’t be her Knight-in-Shining-Scrubs anymore, well, then she can finally move on. Because she’s not into bad boys. Anymore. Supposedly.
Ben and Jessica! A doctor and a nurse who are an incredible team in the ER, but can they mesh their personal lives and still be as effective professionally?
This is the first story in Erin’s new series Just Every day Heroes. She is phenomenal at giving us not just lead characters, but entire families and groups of friends and even places we come to love. I see Jessica, the oldest of the Bradford siblings, setting a very high bar for her younger siblings. But does she always have to be that calm, professional, always do-the-right-thing girl? Could she just cut loose one night and enjoy Dr. Ben Torres?
Ben has always been the hero. He has saved many lives and feels the calling. But now the lines aren’t quite so clear. He doesn’t always make the save, and sometimes, are they even worth saving? After a incident with a patient and a suspension, Ben is not quite sure about continuing his work. Couldn’t he find another passion? Maybe hot little nurse Bradford could help?
Sparks fly from the beginning and there is no question but the chemistry is off the charts. Now how to figure out all of the other issues, including some family members, a coffee house and a youth center who all need a little part of the couple.
Can’t wait to read the rest of the series....
Awesome read. Couldn’t put it down.
Bradford series prove to be great
Erin Nichols is one of my favorite writers. You never know what underlying subject will be in her romance books. The Bradford
Series start out with a bang with Just Right. You'll be addicted after reading just this first book.
