Wedding Blues. Satin Shoes. What’s A Stressed Out Maid Of Honor To Do?
Kendra McLaren never got over him and never fell out of love, but she’s also never gotten what she wants from David Lynx. After eight years without David popping the big question, it's time to climb out of his bed, straighten her bra and panties, and get on with her life. Babies and family will have to wait until her heart heals, but there's no reason she can't at least buy a house. She needs to count her blessings instead bemoaning fate. When the wedding is over, she’s never going to have to see her best friend’s commitment-phobe of a brother ever again.
David Lynx hates to be pushed into things before he's ready. He also hates to be wrong when it turns out he was. He doesn't quite know which hate situation applies to the red-haired she-devil he loves with all his heart. Somewhere in the months since Kendra moved out he’s realized just how awful being without her is. His friend and soon-to-be brother-in-law is convinced he has a fixable problem, but he's still trying to figure out what he’s done wrong. The only clear goal he has is to get Kendra back.
Great story! This is a continuation from Saving Santa but can be a stand alone. In Kissing Kendra we are put into the middle of Kendra's best friend Megan and Megan's brother Davids best friend Nicholas' wedding. Kendra and David had been together for eight years before breaking up. Neither of them has been able to move on and we get to watch their relationship reemerge as Megan and Nick prepare for their wedding.
If you loved Saving Santa you are going to love getting Kendra and David's story but don't worry if you haven't read Saving Santa this is not the end of you enjoying this book. Your just going to want to go get Saving Santa and read it too. Its a great story but not a long one so perfect for the rainy afternoon when you have time to yourself to read. I love how this author puts such heart in her stories. If you want some wonderful laughs while you reading this is the book for you
