My favorite Stage Dive so far
I really like the diversity of characters and plots within the Stage Dive series. Often series get boring after the first book because each book is too similar. Stage Dive gives a unique story each time. Of the first three, this is my favorite. Lena is a fun/sassy character and the chemistry between her and Jimmy is real, not contrived.
Please Write Faster!
Another great book! Stage Dive story lines seem like they write themselves, but alas, they do not. I feel like I'm going through withdrawal every time I finish one of these books. Lead is no exception.
Do yourself a favor now, if you like rock band love stories, angst ridden gorgeous men, with a sprinkling of the other women being put in her place (not enough of that element in Lead, but the characters did not lend themselves to that kind of storyline), do not start reading this series. You'll stay up far too late, feel too much for the characters and start seeing the "bad boy" in your current love interest. It can only bring steam and sizzle to your reality. Best be ready for it.
Pretty Good Read!
I enjoyed lead. I felt like it offered a different perspective of the band and the Demons in the Ferris brothers lives. Lena was a really flushed out character and I loved that she did not have as many insecurities as a lot of the female leads do in this series. One negative was all of the typos throughout the book which made it difficult to stay in the moment. Overall it was a good read.
