Love Before Honor

This book can be downloaded and read in iBooks on your Mac or iOS device.

Honor. Truth. Loyalty. Love. All of these matter most to Sir Gerald. To avenge his love's death, he challenges her murderer to a duel. Her twin, however, feels that Alice never loved Gerald and gives him a tea. Alice had also given him teas, which enhanced his love for her, but this tea is different. This tea sends him to into the future, to the Regency era.

Lady Vanessa seeks a Christmas treat when she hears something outside the manor. Upon investigation, she sees a man dressed in armor. Unwilling to turn away a confused man with the approaching holiday, she convinces her parents to house Gerald until the new year.

Scandal has forced her parents to accept William as their daughter's best chance at marriage. Although rich, he does not understand her or her love of books and only sees her for her looks, whereas Gerald listens to her, confides in her and she him. With the approaching holiday, nothing is certain - not whether Gerald can discover a way back to his duel, whether he can move on from Alice, and not whether this Christmas will be a happy one for either Gerald or Vanessa.

Sweet Time Travel Romance

This is a sweet time travel romance between Sir Gerald from 1288 and Lady Vanessa in 1815.
It has all of my favorite things in a book-a strong and intelligent heroine, a handsome and honorable hero and the Christmas holidays.
After drinking a tea while preparing for a duel in 1288, Gerald travels in time and lands on Vanessa's family estate. Lucky for him! Vanessa's parents are worried that she is not yet married and begin their own matchmaking. Vanessa wants to find love.
The author does a wonderful job developing both of these characters and introducing the villain, William, who I instantly disliked. With the exception of William, I liked the secondary characters. I hope Lydia gets her own story.
Gerald and Vanessa's view on love made me smile. Although a knight from a different time period, Gerald is truly a romantic.
I highly recommend this book!

Sweet, Heart-Warming Tale

A long ago scandal has left Lady Vanessa destined for a loveless marriage and wishing for more.
The death of his beloved has left Sir Gerald devastated and, despite her twin sister’s admissions, bent on revenge.
Interference sends Sir Gerald forward in time; an interference that has him landing at Lady Vanessa’s feet.
Once Lady Vanessa realizes the truth in Sir Gerald’s tale she sets about finding a way to help him return to his own time; despite what it will cost her. The more time Sir Gerald remains in the future the more he realizes the truth of his past and what this chance in the future presents but will his sense of honor prevent him from claiming happiness? Can the two overcome the time differences to be together?
Before reading Nicole Zoltack’s Love Before Honor I was not as a big time-travel fan; HOWEVER, this sweet, heart-warming tale of love that transcends time has me looking at time-travel stories in a new light. I will DEFINITELY be reading more of Ms. Zoltack’s work.
