Book #2 in New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Samantha Chase’s dazzling new series:
The Shaughnessy Brothers are back
He lives by a schedule
Aubrey Burke is on the run from an about-to-be-disastrous mistake when resort owner Hugh Shaughnessy catches her climbing through his office window. Until Aubrey tumbled into his life, Hugh had relied on work and discipline to safeguard a heart damaged by family tragedy. Now his careful world will never be the same.
She lives for the moment
Hugh’s approach to life and love is the opposite of Aubrey’s, but she soon finds herself falling hard for the handsome hotel mogul. There’s a darker reason behind her “live for today” attitude than Hugh could possibly know, but for the first time Aubrey dares to hope this man’s love might make it worth taking a chance on the future.

Love Walks In is a captivating and thoughtful contemporary romance novel.
Hugh blamed himself and his impulsive behavior, for the death of his mother. Aubrey blamed herself for having had cancer, and for being a disappointment to her parents.
Hugh hated surprises. Everything in his life was governed by rules and rigid schedules. In his teen years, Hugh was irresponsible and rebellious, and that’s when his mother died. Hugh’s zest for life and spontaneity left him that day.
Aubrey craved her parent’s approval and love. So when her father encouraged her to marry someone whom she didn’t love, she almost went ahead and did it. But, at the eleventh hour, Aubrey bailed. She was elated and relieved that she had the courage to act on her own behalf. If she hadn’t, Aubrey would never have met Hugh.
Because of Hugh and Aubrey’s troubled histories, they would have several obstacles and fears to overcome before they could find true happiness. The author does an extraordinary job writing the first part of the book where Hugh and Aubrey first meet and start working together. I found it so captivating and hysterical that I couldn’t put the book down. The dialog between the two of them was natural and witty, and the story flowed easily. The middle part of the book, though, slowed the pace a bit, because of repetitions. But all in all, Love Walks In is a very enjoyable and entertaining read. I’m looking forward to book three, where I am sure I’ll find the answers to some dangling questions.
I received this ARC from the publisher, via Edelweiss, in exchange for an honest review.
Twist on Arranged Marriage!
Love Walks In is the second installment in the Shaughnessy Brothers series by Samantha Chase. Hugh takes controlled to the next level, while Aubrey is just beginning to live life by her rules. Forced to work and travel together, a nice spin the arranged marriage plot!, the two quickly realize that his brand of love, attention and devotion is just what she needs and her willingness to live boldly is just what he needs. Once again Chase uses her gift of creating deep emotion without creating a sense of angst and oppression to weave a magical tale of love, forgiveness, and new beginnings.
WOW...what an emotional ride!!!
Hugh and Aubrey left me laughing and crying, sometimes both at the same time. Some say opposites attract and in this instance I would say it was true for our H and h. Hugh and Aubrey both have their own demons and issues to resolve, and reading their journey was uplifting. No one tells great emotional romance better than Samantha Chase. 2nd in the series, each can be read as a stand alone, but I knew in book 1 that this was going to be a great series with the Shaughnessy clan. I admit that I am a huge fan and I can't wait for book 3 of this series for Quinn and Anna's story. If you have not read her books, and love romance with HEA, then I highly recommend you read this one. ***Thank You to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for gifting me with ARC and only asking for an honest review*** 5 stars!
