First to fall??
Luke and Lizzie? Is that going to happen again? Luke is an extreme sports adventurer and Lizzie is a former concert pianist now running a Lodge near Yellowstone and taking care of her niece. When Luke's father dies, leaving the Lodge to Luke and is this possibly the opportunity to catch up with his college sweetheart. Colin, Luke's father, definitely knows what he was doing in leaving the Lodge to Luke. Luke is the first of the Brannigan brothers to fall, are the other six going to follow suit? I hope so and I can't wait to read their stories!
Another new series 7 BRIDES FOR 7 BROTHERS by Barbara Freethy. Starting it off, the first is "LUKE" who risks life and limb, for that perfect shot, being a film maker. Doesn't miss home, though he does his brothers.Traveling the globe, taking that one perfect shot, and cheating death one more time, Sums up the life of Luke. Did he have a girlfriend, at 20 he did, but none now at 30 . A death, the reading of the will, and why was he left a mountain lodge. Another winner, to enjoy and meet the Brannigan family. The next is Gabe.
Given my voluntary review and my honest opinion.
Slow and boring.
This story was really boring. I had a hard time even finishing it. I’ll try the next one in the series, but it it’s not a lot better, I’ll forgo this series.
