This book can be downloaded and read in Apple Books on your Mac or iOS device.

Written by Khloe Thompson of “Khloe Kares”, this Callaloo short story follows Marisol and her cousin Nina on their visit to the museum. Along the way, the girls become lost and frightened when they encounter a homeless community. Luckily, their new friend Khloe saves the day by teaching them what it means to be homeless and showing them ways they can help those less fortunate than themselves.

Customer Reviews

Great for opening children's eyes to real life!

My son Prezstin was antsy tonight and had a long day. I read this sweet book to him and talked a little about the book and he is finally asleep having sweet dreams probably about being a helping hand himself ❤️
