No such thing as love...
Eddy and Henrik don’t believe in love. At least, that’s what they keep telling themselves. They’ve been burned in the past, and neither wants to be that vulnerable again.
A summer fling...
That’s all it was ever supposed to be. So why can’t they stop thinking about one another?
And for Eddy—who’s moving back to America in a few weeks—the worst thing that could happen would be to fall in love with the one man who could make her question her decision.
Out of his comfort zone…
Henrik never counted on trusting love again. He’s put all his energy into his career. So why does the thought of Eddy leaving Europe for good make him want to do everything in his power to make her want to stay…?
The path to true love
An amazing story of the path one must take yo true love. I loved Henrick was often mad at Eddy, but was ecstatic when they finally started to get it together. And just like in real life they had a few curve balls. It was interesting how they made it work for them. I have nothing but praises for the story of Henrick and Eddy.
Henrik and Eddy have had their fair share of disappointments in the opposite sex (in relationships) so they are really weary to finding and in their case accepting love. Henrik has always considered himself to be an accommodating individual that love his work. Eddy seem to be really outgoing and bold. Every relationship that Eddy encountered left her in despair and reluctant to start fresh especially since her latest catastrophe of a relationship that left her discouraged with her ex. Eddy had resigned herself to being alone. Henrik and Eddy rekindled some old flames and created some new experiences during their time at Saint Hans Eve. Will they have the courage to truly explore their connection or just brush it aside as a fling? Is there really magic at the Saint Hans?
Sexy and steam, wonderful and remarkable.
Five shiny stars.
This was a remarkable story about two people who have had their fair share of being in relationships that left them feeling betrayed and disillusioned about ever being committed to anyone.
Henrik the handsome quiet guy was totally attracted to Edwina who was confident and outgoing. They were nervous and apprehensive about getting too caught up in their desire for each other but couldn't ignore the sparks and after a hot summer affair, decided to keep things neutral and stay friend. The couple still had a lot to figure out when the attraction was still so strong, all they could do was think about each other. What made it harder was that they lived on different sides of the world.
You could see the thought and focus that went into writing and making this a beautifully structured story. Which made for a smooth steady reading. The couple had an unmistakable connection and the chemistry was so intense it oozes of the pages. It was sexy, steamy and filled with angst. Overall a wonderful read that I would recommend. Great job Kim.
