It’s been two years and three months since Santos has had sex. Not that he’s keeping track. After the way he betrayed the love of his life, he’s willing to give up sex altogether as long as it means keeping her in his life. But that doesn’t mean he hasn’t thought about it…
Despite living in the same house for months, Mariana is still hesitant to cross that final, physical line. The wounds that Santos left combined with her insecurities stop her from taking what she really wants.
When a misunderstanding makes them realize they’re finally on the same page, Santos and Mari must decide what’s most important to them. But this time, it’ll be Mari’s way or nothing.

The Perfect Ending
Before reading Megged, I had felt content with the way that Santos and Mariana's story ended. But now that I've read this, I can honestly say that I had no idea just how much I needed this closure for them. This was the perfect way to end their story. It answered all of my questions, and it did it in a way that felt honest and realistic. And the writing was really beautiful! Possibly my favorite thing I've read from M.E Carter thus far. So thanks to M.E for giving me something that I didn't even know I needed. I can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Perfect Follow Up!
I was perfectly satisfied with the ending to Goalie. However, I love this follow up to Santos and Mari's story. The first two chapters were a surprise to me, but they put me in exactly the right mindset for the rest of the book. As always, ME Carters does NOT disappoint!
I was happy with the way Mariana and Santos' story in Goalie progressed but I am so content with how it ended in Megged. I love how Carter made this story not only captivating but realistic and raw. Perfect ending to my favorite Mutiny couple.
