Publisher Description

This has been a book long in the making for well over 10 years or
more. Its about the life of a black babyboomer growing up in
the city of Charleston, South Carolina amid revolutionary and
significant social changes of the 50s, 60s and 70s. In addition, it offers a
commentary on life in the palmetto state and on some of the memorable
events and personalities as seen through the eyes of this babyboomer. You
may have noticed inside the cover that the author mentions being the
son of Mary Frazier (phrased as Mary [sic] son) as opposed to the correct
phraseology, Marys son. As indicated by the sic erat scriptum, the author
has done this with the intention of conveying to the reading audience the
flavor and character of the speaking dialect consistent with the people
indigenous to Charleston proper.
